How special is it when a family surprises Grandma and Grandpa with a photo shoot to say “thanks”? It’s something I like most about being a Leesburg VA Extended family photographer. These are my good friends and neighbors, who asked me to do a session as a gift for these special people in their lives. I was ready for a great time and was not disappointed. Grandma and Grandpa have been married for 40 years – she is a fashionista from New York (like me! minus the fashionista part, ha!) and he grew up in Kentucky. They met in college and still tease each other about how to pronounce the A in the name “Garry”. Just for the record, I am on the side of saying it like A as in apple. And their grandkids are clearly the light of their lives. #relationshipgoals
