Here in Leesburg, Va, we just got pounded with 4 inches of snow followed by freezing rain. The rumor is we’re supposed to get another 5-6 inches of snow tomorrow, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to practice shooting snowflakes. In the meantime, I couldn’t resist sharing a look at my backyard thru my macro...
Our challenge this week was “soft focus.” Admittedly, even by the best photographers this is probably my least favorite style because it sort of looks like a mistake made on purpose, but I guess that’s the beauty of photography. I achieved the look using a filter in PhotoShop called Make Dreamy by Everyday Elements, though...
