As your Northern Virginia family photographer, we will work together to pick a location that suits not only your personal style but also your interests. Are you more of a city crew or do you get up and hike on the weekends? Prefer more natural tones or maybe you’re really into modern architecture? All of these things will help me make recommendations for a place to meet that will perfectly reflect who your family is. Professional photography should not be a not a one-size-fits-all experience. Our session will be all about you.
My style of guiding you through your photo session in a relaxed and natural way will have the whole family enjoying having their pictures taken! No worries about what to do with your hands or forced smiles or where to look. You’ll have a beautiful gallery filled with joy and emotive portraits you will love looking back on with your kids as they grow.
Investing in your Northern Va family photography session
The creative retainer is $1200 and includes:
– 45 minute location-inspired photo session
– 15 high-resolution digital images
– $250 in product credit
– access to my exclusive Style Guide
Creative retainers are due with contract to book your session and cover all the magic that happens on my end before, during, and after your session. You don’t pay for anything else until you’ve seen it and LOVE it.
Additional digital files will be available for the above photo sessions so you can customize to what works best for you. On average, you will see 1-2 photos per minute of shooting. Viewing and ordering is done conveniently via private online gallery.
The product credit ensures your beautiful photos don’t just sit on your hard drive. I know how busy we get as parents and I am here to make this as easy as possible for you to enjoy your images.

One of the questions I am asked the most is, “How should I prepare my children for our session?” Most kids don’t naturally pose for pictures – and that is what I love about photographing children! They are honest and raw with their emotions and I strive to capture that sense of wonderment.
As a mom myself, I have learned to be adaptable. We will be moving around our location to keep everyone engaged. We’ll play games, snuggle, laugh, and have fun!
