One of the projects I am most passionate about is photographing adoptable pets for local animal rescues. It’s amazing what an updated and/or professional image can do to show a dog or cat (or fish or hamster!) in a whole new light. It helps potential adopters see these animals as pets that belong in a home.
I also volunteer for Preemie Prints, an organization that connects parents with photographers to offer free NICU and NICU Grad sessions. My first daughter was 7 weeks premature and there was no one in my area offering such a service at the time, so this is extremely close to my heart.
