This mama reached out to me from the Real Housewives of Loudoun County Facebook group. Turns out we have a lot in common – we are both proud supporters of local, small businesses and we both have preemies. Baby B was born at 35 weeks, 3 days (on Mom’s 33rd birthday!) due to my HELLP syndrome. He was 6 lbs, 5 ounces and spent 14 days in the NICU, and is now 21 lbs and perfectly healthy. Except that he doesn’t like cake. Oh well, more for Dad 😉 Almost the entire session was to the soundtrack of Shake It Off by Taylor Swift – it was a lot of fun to get to sing and groove to make him smile, and I might make it mandatory for all future sessions. (Kidding. Sort of.)
