As your Northern Virginia family photographer, we will work together to pick a location that suits your style and interests. Are you more of a city crew or do you get up and hike on the weekends? Would you prefer more natural tones, or maybe you’re into modern architecture? All of these things will help me recommend a place to meet that perfectly reflects who your family is. Professional photography should not be a not a one-size-fits-all experience. Our session will be all about you.
My relaxed and natural approach to guiding you through your photo session will have the whole family enjoying having their pictures taken! There are no worries about what to do with your hands, forced smiles, or where to look. You’ll have a beautiful gallery filled with joy and emotive portraits that you will love looking back on with your kids as they grow.

Creative retainers are due with a contract to book your session and cover all the magic on my end before, during, and after it. You don’t pay for anything else until you’ve seen and loved it.
HIGH QUALITY FILES
Additional digital files will be available for the above photo sessions so you can customize them to what works best for you. On average, you will see 1-2 photos per minute of shooting. Viewing and ordering is done conveniently via a private online gallery.

What To Expect
One of the questions I am most often asked is, “How should I prepare my children for our session?” Most kids don’t naturally pose for pictures—and that is what I love about photographing children! They are honest and raw with their emotions, and I strive to capture that sense of wonderment.
As a mom myself, I have learned to be adaptable. We will be moving around our location to keep everyone engaged. We’ll play games, snuggle, laugh, and have fun!
Upon booking, you will receive a copy of my exclusive style guide, and I can also provide you with a list of fabulous hair and makeup artists. I want you to look and feel your very best so you are comfortable during our photo session.
Furbabies are always welcome to join your portrait session! I can’t wait to meet your family.
