On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of joining some new friends out at Boxwood Winery in Middleburg, VA (I’m sensing a theme to these blog posts.)
As far as picturesque goes, this is really a tough spot to beat.
Our group of 9 (plus my daughter, who did not taste any of the wines but did enjoy the cheese platter) sat outside in the gorgeous patio area, enjoying the weather and tasting several wines. Given the excellent conditions, I had some time to play and discovered that I really like shots of the wine being poured 🙂
Somewhere along the way, Heather attracted the [permanent] company of a very social butterfly – pun intended.
And back to the wine…
