Last summer, while I was planning some ideas for the 2016 Public Breastfeeding Awareness project and World Breastfeeding Week, I had had this idea in my head of a photo that would celebrate the beautiful diversity that makes our area of Northern Virginia so wonderful. What better way to show this than by one way we are all connected in motherhood – the ability to grow and nurture our children?
These two became fast friends, proving once again that all this world needs is a little bit of love.
