While I normally reserve mini sessions for the March for Babies fundraiser each spring, this year I decided to open up one weekend day to give fall family mini sessions a try. What a fun way to get into the holiday spirit a little bit, as you begin preparing for holiday cards and grandparent gifts and everything in between. And it just so happened to be right around the time the Pumpkin Spice Latte was released 😉 Does anybody else rely on Starbucks to tell them what season it is, or is it just me? Anyway. We had two sets, one in early morning and one in the evening. I’m so not a morning person, but I really love the bright and airy feeling to the morning pictures, while the evening is more of my preferred contrasty vibe. And while I always try to get one or two classic “everybody look here and smile!” photos, it’s important to me that I also capture your family’s unique dynamic and your kids personalities. Yes, we can do all that in 15mins 😉
The next round of minis as a Northern Virginia mini session photographer will be in the Spring, and the best way to find out about them (and everything else going on!) is through my newsletter. If you haven’t signed up yet, I would love to have you join us! It only goes out on the first of the month – I promise not to spam you.
Here are some sneak peeks from this year’s Fall family mini sessions!
