Some may already know, but before we brought our daughter into the world my husband and I used to bring dogs into our home…a lot of them. In about two years we fostered 15 dogs, and thankfully only kept one – our wonderful Snoopy. Even though we won’t foster again until our daughter is older, I still want to continue volunteering, and what better way than to take pictures of the incredible dogs available for adoption?
We live in a society where beauty sells. Sometimes all a dog needs is a decent photo. Over the next couple of months I will be working with Friends of Homeless Animals to update all of the photos of the dogs at their shelter for the website, in hopes of generating some new interest and finding their forever home.
On Saturday morning I worked with Senior Volunteer Billy and we got fifteen dogs done! For more information on any of the dogs you see here, please visit www.foha.org.
