What an exciting night! I attended the Obama 2012 rally in Leesburg, VA with my favorite mother-in-law 😉 Now, I am not normally the rally type. I’m not even the politics type. But it’s not every day the President of the United States will be in your small town in Northern Virginia and I just couldn’t pass up what may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Regardless of your thoughts on politics, I think we can all agree that the two men who set up a shaved ice stand on the side of the road are pure geniuses.
It was a gorgeous night – warm while the sun was out of course, but once it went down it was just beautiful.
And of course…the aftermath.
It was a long afternoon of standing on lines and I am exhausted! Please know that it is not my intention to start a debate – just wanted to share a few of my favorite images from tonight. I’d love to see yours if you’ve been to any of the rallies!

KapowzYour images always make me feel like I was right in the moment with you. What a beautiful day and what an incredible story to tell your daughter when she gets older.
