Today, my friend Beryl and I took our daughters to a Mommy & Me art class at the new Art Station in Leesburg, VA. They had a blast! Unhindered and full of creative expressiveness that only two-year-olds know, our girls took their mouse paintings to a new level.

They painted a mother’s day picture of a mommy mouse and baby mouse, and read a cute story while the paint was drying. When everything was done, the girls were allowed to embellish their paintings with cardboard cut outs.
The owner’s son joins us. Group photo? Boys will be boys!
I’m going to tell you Izzy cut out that moon on her painting. Amazing, right? Too bad it was actually me that did it. At least my hearts are pretty good!
