project 52 of 2013 | festive

On Wednesday night we made our annual trek into Washington, DC to visit the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. This is one of my favorite parts about living here and we look forward to it every year. The carousel runs until 8pm, they have a train decorated with lights that takes you around the zoo, and a huge slide you tube down. The indoor exhibits are all open (tho not decorated) and the petting zoo animals are out. Everything dangerous is locked away 😉 I grabbed my Rebel but didn’t take many pictures – I was wearing our 6 month old in the Ergo and it was cold! I wanted to share a few for our “festive” theme this week.
