On Friday my family and I went to the Baltimore Aquarium for my daughter’s 2nd birthday! I love aquariums. I love the water and I love the fish. I feel so peaceful. And it’s always interesting to see fish I’ve swum with up close and personal on a dive (including sharks) behind glass, where I can stand there with my camera and connect on a very different level.
Do you think Aquarium Photographer is a real job? It might just be my calling. I’m hoping to attain my underwater photography certification in the coming months. Then I’ll take pictures of the exact same fish out in the wild and we can compare 😉

We also caught the dolphin show…
The highlight of any trip to the aquarium, for me, is always the jellyfish. I think they’re magical. I could spend hours just standing there watching them. Though, this is one animal I probably wouldn’t photograph so close in real life 😉

Blaire Ringyes – Inner Harbor. We don’t go as much as we’d like because it’s more than an hour away. But now that our daughter is a little older it might be a nice Saturday trip!
