I always get so much amusement out of writing Leesburg VA breastfeeding photographer. Because I am both a breastfeeding photographer (photographing breastfeeding mothers) and a breastfeeding photographer (a photographer who breastfed her baby)…get it?? I crack myself up. I’m going to pretend you’re laughing with me.
I met this beautiful mom twice before our session; the first time was at the 2016 Miracle Milk Stroll and the second was when I photographed a La Leche League meeting for our local chapter. If you are or will be nursing, and are in the area, I highly recommend you check them out. Everyone is super warm and friendly and there’s a Facebook page you can join to get to know everyone as well and ask questions.
She had this idea of incorporating water into the session somehow so we headed over to the fountains. It was full sun on a lovely summer day, with a decent sized crowd. Originally there were no seats so she sat on the ground, when another mom asked if she’d like her bench. I had to share that because so often we focus only on the negative, but there truly is so much love to go around.
