As a Northern Virginia family photographer, I am often asked for recommendations on where to have a family session. By far, my favorite spot has to be Morven Park in Leesburg. I loved how varied it is – with 1100 acres, there is something in it for everyone. I met this adorable family last year and was so excited to see them again! Their little guy must have been planning for our session because he knew exactly what he wanted 😉 Which is fine because there’s plenty of space to roam and lots of interesting things to check out. I am laid back during sessions with young kids – I like to let them lead us and aim to capture them in whatever stage they happen to be in.
