Hello there! In the April newsletter, I shared a personal photo of my daughter and one of our dogs. In case you missed it: This year, I’m spending more time documenting our every day at home. The boring stuff. The things I’m going to forget one day – like the way my dog sits at my little’s side, messy kitchen in the background, evidence of a long day out and a dog who missed his girl.
I asked recently on my Facebook page: if I could come to your home today and document one thing for you, what would it be? So many thoughtful responses were shared, like the way a mother brushes her daughters hair before school or the quiet family dinners after a long day. I am challenging everyone to get out whatever camera you have – your phone, a point and shoot, or maybe a giant DSLR – and document one “boring” thing that makes your family uniquely you.
These photos are so special to me, and I know how much they mean to you, too. So I asked you to send me your favorite shots. I said I would assemble them into a blog post and we’d ask our friends to vote for their favorite. The winner will win a free mini session for me to come and professionally document their favorite everyday moment.
Please leave a comment on this blog post to vote for your favorite moment from below. Voting will be open until midnight on Friday, and the winner will be announced in the June newsletter. So if you’re not signed up, please click here!
To vote, please leave a comment with which your favorite moment is! Please vote only once for your favorite photo 🙂
