I shoot in RAW, so I allowed the following basic adjustments – Blacks 5, Brightness +50, Contrast +25 – that I have set to apply to every image automatically.
Taken with my Rebel because I don’t have a wide angle for my 5d2 yet, there’s a lot of noise that I definitely forgot would be an issue. The edited version:
Cornice boards and slip cover for the rocker created by a very talented local friend-of-a-friend (website to come, can’t wait to share!) and quilt and crib skirt by the amazing Rebecca of Birds Have Flowers on Etsy. The wooden chest in the lower left that looks like it doesn’t belong was actually made by my late grandfather, for whom Second Ave Photography is dedicated.
Next, please hop over to Valerie Rice and check out her “SOOC” image.
